Health Care Hub Build Begins Next Step
What was once the car park at Caversham health provider Te Kāika is now a massive hole as construction for the facility's new wellness centre proceed.
On the ground level, there will be outpatient services, primary care, and social agencies, as well as clinical rooms and private facilities for sensitive clients.
It is anticipated to serve as a health-care centre, providing comprehensive health-care and social-services assistance to around 5000 registered Māori, Pasifika, and low-income families.
