Free, community-based support service

Te Whare | Our Alcohol and Other Drug Addiction Support Service

Te Kāika provides free, community-based Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) support services in Dunedin.

Our approach is whānau-centered, harm reduction-focused, and grounded in Te Ao Māori values, ensuring holistic, culturally safe care for tāngata whaiora with moderate to severe substance use challenges and their whānau.

Our services are designed and delivered from a te ao Māori worldview and include one to one counselling and whānau support.
