Stable Foundations for Whānau

Housing Support Services

Stable housing is essential for wellbeing. Our Housing Support Service helps rangatahi and whānau secure safe, lasting homes while providing wraparound support to build independence.

We assist rangatahi aged 16-21 who have spent at least three continuous months in care or youth justice placements after age 14 years and 9 months.

Young adults up to age 25 can access advice and assistance. Whether living independently or staying connected with whānau, we help navigate the journey to secure housing.

Housing Support Service

Our Housing Support Service provides a kaupapa Māori environment where rangatahi receive tailored support, life skills training, and cultural connection.

Our approach is whānau-centered, ensuring rangatahi build resilience, independence, and strong community ties. We focus on education, employment pathways, and personal development, encouraging them to stay connected to tikanga Māori while preparing for the future.

Our Approach

Our services follow the Te Kāika Model of Care and Te Rereka Toroa Practice Model, aligning with Ngāi Tahu aspirations to ensure:

  • Mokopuna remain connected to their cultural identity.
  • Whānau are included in decision-making.
